What are you going to do
As a technical support engineer you will be responsible for providing timely and knowledgeable technical support to our customers on our Xpertdoc product.
Xpertdoc, an Experlogix product, develops and implements powerful document automation software for mid to large size Business Users worldwide. With this software business users can simplify, optimize and automate any document process. Visit www.xpertdoc.com for more information.
In this role no day will be the same. The technical support you provide goes way beyond asking customers if they have rebooted their systems: it is researching the software at the customers end and digging to find the issue and then solve it.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain strong customer relationships by providing quality service.
- Document and troubleshoot issues using our internal reporting tools.
- Establish and maintain a knowledge base and forum to support clients.
- Monitor the arrival of tickets and offer troubleshooting (level 1).
- Inform customers of the status of application availability (cloud services).
- Provide emergency technical support outside of regular business hours.
Your colleagues are located in Belgium (Temse), Canada (Quebec), The Netherlands (Veenendaal), and the US (Utah). You will work remotely and in our Belgium office in Temse in a hybrid setup.

Who are you
You are a teamplayer, not afraid to speak your mind. Besides that, you are eager to learn new things.
Furthermore, we ask:
- High School IT diploma or related discipline.
- At least 2 years of direct customer support experience, preferably within a SaaS or technical based business.
- Experience analysing and resolving support issues.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Detail oriented, demonstrated ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues.
- Enjoy communicating with customers to resolving technical issues.
- Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills in English.
