UCB is seeking a passionate and driven graduate to jointhe uDevelop Program in Learning Experience.The GDP aims to develop the academic knowledge of graduates through alearning and practical journey at UCB, which enables them tomake an impact in the business.

You will have the opportunity to gain experience within our international, dynamic and passionate learning team for about 24 months.The position is based in UCB’s headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.

We focus on building a program where you can work in collaboration with diverse teams across UCB, developing learning initiatives that impact every UCB employee, while gaining key skills to advance in a career within the pharmaceutical or learning industries.

With this program, you will acquire a broad range of professional experience and skills in learning and development – from understanding learning needs to developing creative learning solutions. You will have the chance to start your career in a global corporate environment and shape your professional journey in the pharmaceutical industry. If you are successful, this could lead to permanent employment at UCB.

Two graduate journeys are never the same… and this one is an exciting one! There’s a lot more to it, but to get started, this is what is expecting you by the time you join us:

• The Global Learning & Development team develops innovative learning solutions to meet the needs of all UCB employees.
• You will be a key player in supporting the development of learning solutions by:
  • Helping to design the journey learners will take to achieve their learning goals;
  • Developing plans to execute and implement these learning journeys, with collaboration of learning and business stakeholders; and
  • Implementing the learning plans by developing learning content and helping to share that content through UCB tools.

Ideally, this is what your background looks like. However, we are happy for you to challenge us that you’re the right one for this job even if these boxes are not really ticked.

• Recently graduated from a healthcare, digital, marketing, psychology, business, education, design or related field and/or has relevant experience in these areas.
• Previous experience in learning and development a plus.
• Demonstrated technical and/or design skills, and/or comfort learning new technology.
• Effective program communication and managing the culture in line with UCB’s values is an essential leadership component

And of course, excellent command of English is a must. And it would be great if you can also demonstrate competencies such as: Tech Savviness, Adaptable Mindset, Team Player, Self-starter, Solution-oriented, Proactive Learner and of course, customer-oriented.
