JOB DESCRIPTION

INTRASOFT International, a leading European IT solutions provider, is seeking on behalf of one of the European Institutions based in Brussels, a professional to cover the following opening:

WebMaster


This role is the intersection of communication and technology.

Responsibilities :

 Support to the maintenance and update of several intranet websites including creation of new pages and sections, update of existing ones. These sections and pages can sometimes be managed by other business units.
 Support to the development of the Commission’s future intranet. Prepare sites, pages and content working with the development team.
 Upload documents and multimedia assets
 Support content integration (e.g. document transformation from format to format, basic multimedia editing)
 Manage translation requests and publish translated content
 Contribute to editorial updates (draft and review content in English)
 Provide support to web-related activities run by the Unit (eg. organisation of meetings for the Commission web community)


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Requirements :

 Experience in creating and updating websites in SharePoint 2013 and subsequent versions (or similar CMS) - experience in SharePoint Online is an advantage)
 Understanding of accessibility and UX principles
 Excellent communication and presentation skills
 The following would be an asset:
 Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English (level C2)
 Experience in working in large organisations and as part of multidisciplinary teams
