Job content

  • Initiates procurement of all products, services in a cost effective, timely manner consistent with company objectives considering cost, quality, priority.
  • Collaborates with Suppliers to ensure optimal inventory levels to support on time delivery goals
  • Maintains purchase price for all items and follows PPV to ensure accurate payments are organized
  • Utilizes reorder reports, critical inventory reports, and MRP, to formalize and plan optimal reorder quantities for raw materials considering forecast data, seasonality trends, and customer demand
  • Assist with implementation of E1 MRP function.
  • Track and maintain records of open purchase orders with suppliers, ensuring open order data is accurate. Maintain supplier files of contacts and latest material specifications. SDS, COA, COO
  • Manages Inventory to an optimal level based upon safety stocks, reorder points, as well as taking advantage of volume buys for price reductions when available
  • Takes proactive approach to resolve open issues with suppliers relating to quality, errors on shipments, delivery issues. Member of quality team. Deliver Corrective Actions for supplier quality issues
  • Coordinates with shipping and production departments to advise expected in bound freight considering storage and warehouse capacities. Reports Bi weekly receiving details in writing.
  • Monitors and reports supplier performance on a monthly basis.
  • Coordinate S&OP meeting with Sales and Key Accounts to alter forecasts and planning according to demand
  • In conjunction with Finance conduct material excess and obsolete review at minimum quarterly, assisting with plans to manage the inventory accordingly
  • Communicate and report material shortages to operations team
  • Assist with supplier negotiations, cost reduction, SKU analysis, and sourcing projects
  • Performs other duties assigned by Management

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution preferred
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in purchasing related field
  • MRP knowledge and experience
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Offer:

Permanent contract

40 hours week (38 hours schedule) with 12 recovery days

Mon - Thu: 8h15 - 17h - Fri: 8h30 - 16h
