Our Company

Chiron is Yields.io’s award-winning platform for automated model validation and testing. The solution is used by both international investment banks as well as by regional financial institutions to increase the efficiency of model validation and generate regulatory compliant documentation. Apart from this software solution, we offer advice and implementation services to assist our clients through their model risk management journey.

You

We are currently looking for a talented python developer to work inside the customer success team . You will work inside a multi-disciplinary client-facing team on implementation projects where you will support the customer to integrate our products within their environment as well as projects where you develop customized user-friendly python libraries/APIs.

Requirements

Must
  • Expert knowledge in Python
  • Experience in python library/API design and implementation
  • At least 2 years of experience as a python developer.
  • Bachelor or Master in IT
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Analytical mindset
  • Be able to commute to the office in Belgium at least once a week

Plus
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, etc.
  • Experience in the main analytics python libraries (Keras, Tensorflow, scikit learn, …)
  • Experience with creating high-quality Jupyter notebooks
  • Knowledge of Scala or alternatively Java
  • Familiarity with Docker/k8s
  • Basic knowledge of machine learning algorithms and model risk management
  • Positive and creative mindset
  • Enthusiastic to learn about new technologies and algorithms
  • Pragmatic & customer focussed
