QA Engineer

How Does Your Day Look Like

  • Collaborate with product owner, developers, and other stakeholders to understand the product requirements and create

comprehensive test plans. Define test objectives, scope, and strategies.

  • Develop detailed test cases and test scripts based on product specifications and user stories. These test cases should

cover various scenarios, including positive and negative use cases.

  • Execute test cases manually. Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing as needed
  • Identify, document, and report defects or issues in a clear and organized manner. Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and verify bug fixes
  • Maintain up-to-date test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test data. Ensure that testing processes and results are well-documented for future reference
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging QA technologies, and trends. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and efficiency

Act as an advocate for the end-users, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met through rigorous testing and feedback channels

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or equal in experience
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English
  • You have experience in System testing
  • Acceptance testing and/or non-Functional testing
  • You are a customer centric, motivated team player
  • You can work autonomous
  • Experience with testing of a web based application is considered a plus
  • Experience or willing to learn to write automated tests with Selenium/Puppeteer
  • Knowledge/or experience of the automotive or insurance sector, is a plus
  • You are analytical and love to find problems
