As a QHSE Engineer you will have a variety of tasks such as assisting the project and tender departments, update and maintain our management systems, set up QHSE campaigns, take part in incident investigations, risk assessments and audits. You will mainly work from our headquarters based in Zwijndrecht, Belgium.

You will collaborate with employees of all nationalities and disciplines.

Your responsibilities

  • Assist the tender and project departments on the aspect of QHSE-s;
  • Ensure that safety is approached and monitored in a structural way through risk analysis, preventive measures, information and action management;
  • Follow up the necessary paperwork and documentation related to incidents;
  • Maintain and update the management systems
  • You will mainly work from our headquarters based in Zwijndrecht, Belgium.

Your profile

  • You hold a bachelor or master degree in safety science; a specialization in Energy management and Environmental Engineering is an asset.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in the field of QHSE and/or safety management systems.
  • You have an analytical mind and are able to work accurately;
  • You have good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; Fluency in Dutch is an asset.
  • You are prepared to travel abroad for short periods.
