The Quality Control Manager’s objective is to ensure that all products delivered to customers comply with the company’s requirements. To achieve this, he/she is responsible for quality control of the products manufactured, but also manages process improvements to reduce the number of non-compliant products, in collaboration with the production engineer and maintenance engineer. He/she is one of the guarantors of the company’s credibility and profitability. He/she is one of the guarantors of the company’s credibility and profitability.

Main activities and objectives :

  • Organises, coordinates and monitors the projects/tasks of the quality control and laboratory team in compliance with pre-defined time criteria
  • Informs his/her hierarchy of any deviations from the schedule and/or expected results and proposes corrective action
  • Also informs of any events or risks that may have an influence on quality resultsRespects the company’s Quality and Safety procedures.
  • Laboratory management.Makes sure that the mechanical testing laboratory runs smoothly. Ensures that the team’s organisation runs smoothly and complies with factory rules.
  • Management Quality control.Distributes and supports the various tasks within the team in order to carry out the following tasks :
  • Quality system (IATF)
  • Metrology: checking the correct operation and certification of equipment
  • Self-monitoring: ensuring that operators apply the correct product quality control rules
  • Product quality control: clearing products of outstanding quality, checking the final quality of products (sampling), etc.
  • Continuous improvement: proposing projects to improve quality control monitoring
  • Supplier quality monitoring and customer complaints

Qualifications

  • Industrial/civil engineer.
  • FMEA procedure & problem analysis methods
  • Quality project management
  • Management of improvement plans (development, implementation and follow-up)
  • Very good analytical skills (in particular the ability to identify flaws and malfunctions in a system) and the ability to synthesise information
  • French: min. level C1
  • English: min. level B1
