We are currently looking for a Quality Manager IX to join the Barco Entertainment Team. This person will be working from the HQ in Kortrijk, Belgium with quality management responsibility for the products and processes related to the IX division.

The QA Manager IX will report to the QA Director and the primary responsibilities of the position are:

  • Coordinate and steer product quality meetings
  • Analyze field complaints & trends and coordinate remedial actions where needed in coordination with L3 team
  • Manage escalated customer complaints and severe supplier quality issues in cooperation with relevant stakeholders
  • Execute and follow-up internal process audits according to ISO9001:2015 norm
  • Perform data analysis based on trend data and report quality related KPI’s (total intervention rate, early failures, red alert status, …)
  • Take the quality responsibility and pro-active lead during new product developments
  • Represent QA IX in reporting and on related internal meetings platforms
  • When needed take part in meetings with large customer parties
Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field or an equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Proven track record in quality management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Dutch and English
  • Good communication skills, listening skills and able to cope with stressful situations
  • Excellent project management, reporting and coordination skills
  • Able to work autonomous
  • Good analytical skills to identify trends from different data sets
