Trial Set-Up Quality Manager

Because of their growth, I am helping an international company, based in Ghent, to find their new Trial Set-up Quality Manager.

The Company Has Two Main Activities
  • Central Lab activities for clinical research
  • Performing clinical trials for third parties
It’s a growing organisation using cutting edge science in their HQ in Ghent. This implicates that all the decisions are made in Belgium and you will be on top of every change and always be up to date.

Global Trial Set-up Lead

You will work in the project management team where you will execute a quality review function, reporting to the Global Trial Set-Up lead. You will be the last checkpoint before the information is released, processed, and communicated towards the Project Managers. You will contribute to process improvement and optimisation, working in a team of 9 colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Quality review of documentation and database, internally and externally;
    • Central laboratory Study Documentation;
    • Site Study Documentation;
    • Trial Documents;
    • Local Trial Set-up
  • Cross review with reference to LSD
  • Process improvement and optimisation, based on QA data analysis;
  • Communication towards internal and external stakeholders.
This team is build out of 9 competent people of which most of them have some years of seniority in the company. There is a good atmosphere in the team while being aware of performance pressure.

Skills
  • Bachelor degree;
  • 2 years of professional experience;
  • Quality Mindset ;
  • Knowledge of/or basics of clinical trials; experience in a CRO or Central Laboratory;
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is an asset
  • Stress resistant;
  • Details oriented
