For the Sport and Health Centre at NATO in Brussels, we are looking for a professional and welcoming Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our members and visitors.

The centre includes indoor and outdoor facilities, such as squash courts, tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a gym. Open seven days a week, the sports centre serves as a social hub where more than 4,500 employees can meet for sports and other activities.

About the role

Prompts:

  • You will be the first point of contact for members, guests, and visitors, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
  • You will be providing information on the centre’s facilities, activities, and membership options, and conducting guided tours.
  • You will be managing incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails, ensuring prompt and clear communication.
  • You will be managing bookings for sports facilities and meeting rooms.
  • You will be supporting administrative duties, including handling mail and maintaining records and schedules.
  • You will be overseeing the organisation and cleanliness of the reception and common areas.
  • You will be supporting facility management by coordinating maintenance requests.
  • You will be ensuring a safe and secure environment for all members and staff.

About you:

To excel in this role, you should be an organised, proactive, and service-oriented professional with a passion for wellness and fitness.

Education and Qualifications

  • Certification in first aid (or willingness to obtain).

Experience

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Interest or experience in the fitness and wellness sector.

Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Strong communication skills, friendly, professional, and articulate.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
