Regional Sales Manager - APAC RegionIntroduction
We are seeking an ambitious and entrepreneurial Regional Sales Manager to support the expansion of an international industrial equipment manufacturer across the Asia, Australia and Pacific region. In this strategic role, you will drive commercial growth, develop new markets and create long-term partnerships that strengthen the organisation’s global presence.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify, explore and develop new business opportunities within the APAC region.
* Act as a proactive sales hunter and grow market penetration across targeted countries.
* Co-create and implement the group sales strategy in alignment with global objectives.
* Define sales targets, prepare forecasts and monitor commercial performance.
* Take P&L responsibility related to sales volumes, margins and direct costs.
* Develop, support and optimise distribution channels across the region.
* Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions and sector-related events.
* Oversee installation processes at client sites and ensure professional handover.
* Collaborate closely with Aftersales teams to guarantee high-quality customer support.
* Prepare regular commercial progress reports for management.
* Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
Profile & Requirements
* Higher education degree, preferably in a technical or technical-commercial field.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar international sales position.
* Experience in industrial equipment; experience in industrial laundry machinery is a strong advantage.
* Strong command of English; additional languages are considered an asset.
* Proven track record in business development and strategic account management.
* Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
* Strong customer orientation with the ability to understand complex market mechanisms.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on leadership qualities.
* Willingness to travel frequently across the APAC region.
