Reporting Systems Analyst

The Role

Your Mission

• You will be part of the Global Reporting Team spread over 3 time-zones (Wilrijk-Prague, Shanghai, Rock Hill) that provides the first level support for our reporting and consolidation process and several financial applications for internal Atlas Copco units all over the world.
• In this role you will focus on the continuous technical and functional enhancement of our services and strive for customer satisfaction.
• You will report to the EMEA Regional Reporting Team Leader in Belgium.

The role

• You will support the monthly reporting process ensuring smooth data flow from different systems (SAP Business Warehouse (SAP BW/BIBO, SAP HANA, SAP FIORI) – Reporting platform, SAP BPC/GPS - Group Consolidation System, SCOA – Standard Chart of Accounts, ICE – Intercompany Netting & Reconciliation System)
• You will be the first point of contact (1st level support), solving various issues raised by Finance users in Atlas Copco Customers Centers, Product Companies, Shared Service Centers and Atlas Copco Group Controlling and Accounting via virtual Finance Service Desk
• You will perform and support the maintenance of those application systems and tools in our service scope
• You will train and support internal customers and colleagues in understanding and using those systems
• You will work in close cooperation with development teams responsible for 2nd or 3rd level support of the reporting applications
• You will be responsible for SAP BW implementation projects and projects to improve our processes
• You will actively participate in various global AC Group projects i.e. Act! roll out – SAP ERP for Customer Centers, Zero-Reporting projects including launchin group common data platform Polaris (BW4HANA, SAP IS). This will require close cooperation with the project teams
• You should eventually be prepared to do some travelling depending on the project requirement
• You will have the opportunity to improve your skills and progress your career through external and internal training

The position can be developed depending on your own ability and ambition. What we expect of you?

Skills and Experience

Experience & Knowledge

• A first professional experience in reporting with an interest in IT or a first IT experience with an interest/knowledge of financial systems
• Overall knowledge and working experience with SAP ECC/ERP, SAP BW/BIBO, SAP HANA, SAP FIORI, SAP BPC, SCOA, Netting System and Power BI are considered as an advantage
• Good IT skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel is a must
• Knowledge/experience in working with financial modules is a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Fluency in English, spoken and written is a must
• Good presentation and organizational skills

Educational Requirements

• Master’s degree in economics, commercial engineer, or IT with a focus on business
