Within the France-Benelux Finance department, and reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Sales controlling analyst is in charge of the analysis and efficient data management of commercial data for all sales channels within France and Benelux.
Key Responsibilities:
- Closing & business reporting & P&L analysis:
- Participate in monthly closing and analysis: top of the P&L, explication of the variance versus forecast
- Reporting (internal sales) and Support of Sales Team in preparation of customers meetings, ad-hoc analysis
- Follow-up of the sell-in business trend
- Monthly Scorecards (KPIs per sales representative)
- Monthly Sell - Out data analysis
- Category focus monthly reports and other monthly reports (prospection & incentive, sales status by sales rep.)
- Forecast:
- Prepare and support the rolling forecast exercise for the sales P&L part
- Coordinate and challenge the sales forecast
- Back-margin:
- Support back margin organization: back-margin software set-up and maintenance, promote the tool and support knowledge sharing to sales teams in Benelux
- Ensure the quality of the data within the back-margin software
- Field sales follow-up:
- CRM Front Office key user: Tool monitoring among sales teams, follow-up on priorities, promotions and trainings
- Field Sales data follow-up and analysis: activity, objectives. And provide all necessary tools for sales force (order forms, sales plans)
- Sales Teams Bonus follow-up for 2 Business Units (Belgium and Netherlands): objectives and results validation, reports and analysis
- Other:
- Database management : customers and products
Key factors of success :
- Provide accurate and timely reports: more than 20 reports providing monthly to Sales Teams respecting deadlines
- Precision in data processing and controlling: Field Sales activity
- Active communication with Sales and other services (finance, supply chain, marketing); Quality of support and coordination
- Understanding the business
- Knowledge / learning of different analysis and/or BI Tools (PowerBI)
- Initiate and create new reports to answer internal customers needs with clear and efficient reporting,
- Reformatting existing reports
- University Degree in Business, Finance or Economics
- Minimum between 2 and 3 years in a sales analysis or sales supporting function
- Finance and business oriented
- Great autonomy and sense of responsibility
- Ability to “step back” and have a helicopter view
- Team spirit on multi-site area
- Excellent knowledge of CRM, MS Excel, Database systems, PowerBi
- Fluent in both English and French (spoken and written)
