We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to lead our Belgian sales teamsand drive the company’s growth by achieving and surpassing revenue and margin targets.
As Sales Director, you will play a key role in shaping the future of the business by developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with our corporate objectives.
Your ability to energize, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team will be essential in building successful long-term relationships with key customers and ensuring a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the sales plan, motivating your direct and indirect teams, and managing key accounts and partners. You will ensure the team meets or exceeds agreed KPIs and revenue targets, while also collaborating closely with other departments, particularly marketing, to align sales strategies with company goals.
- You will structure, organize, and motivate the sales team, ensuring it is well-staffed and equipped with the skills and tools needed for success. You will also manage the sales budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize performance. In addition, you will have the authority to develop go-to-market strategies and allocate leads within the team to optimize results.
- A key aspect of your role will be building and maintaining relationships with large customers, representing the company at industry events, and working with external market analysts and consultants to stay ahead of industry trends.
What we are looking for in you...
You have a proven track record in sales leadership, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.Your entrepreneurial mindset, strong commercial acumen, and deep understanding of sales processes set you apart as a strategic thinker. You are adept at building relationships, both internally and externally, and have a passion for inspiring teams to achieve excellence.
You are proficient in Dutch, French, and English, both written and spoken, and possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in telecommunications engineering, business economics, or a related field.
Continuous professional development in product knowledge, management, and communication skills is a plus.
