BRIEF: MARKETING AND SALES MANAGER Animal Health, Belgium
  • University degree Veterinary, Economics, Business; Nature Sciences or other equivalent education
  • Previous experience in marketing and sales management of animal health business with primary focus on companion animals.
  • Good knowledge of marketing & sales activities in animal health business
  • Able to form good relationships network with key accounts, whole sellers, veterinary clinics and praxis
  • Able to manage, motivate and supervise sales team very well
Additional information:
  • We are looking for a candidate who currently holds position of Sales Manager/Marketing & Sales Manager or similar in Animal Health business and has a lot of potential to develop
  • The candidate should have leadership skills
  • Best candidate is a person who is a strong sales person, successful at work, with certain level of knowledge of marketing in animal health business as well
  • The candidate needs to have very well developed sales and commercial skills and needs to have a good social networking within animal health business
  • The candidate needs to have a good knowledge of companion animals
  • The candidate needs to be able to travel a lot
  • The candidate needs to be able to work closely with headquarters

Major tasks and duties:
  • Developing good relationships with key accounts, whole sellers, major veterinary clinics and praxis
  • Establishing, organizing, managing and developing field force team
  • Proposing and developing effective marketing and sales strategies and tactics and assuring their implementation
  • Suggesting specific marketing approaches and activities and their operative performance in top key clients on the market
  • Preparing and implementing sales and marketing budget, forecast, different analysis, reports etc.
  • And all other activities in regards to developing animal health sales &marketing business in the Belgian market
Major objectives and expectations:
  • To further develop sales and marketing of the Belgium AH program
  • To manage and lead sales team in Belgium
  • To promote products through vets, pharms and sold through pharmacies, wholesalers and distributors in Belgium
  • To launch new products
Responsibilities and reporting:
  • Responsible for marketing of animal health program on Belgium market
  • Directly reports to Director of Belgium
  • Reporting also to HQ Marketing AH
  • Direct superior to: Key Account Managers AH, AH Representatives, Brand Manager AH
  • All solutions should be accepted/approved by the Director of Belgium and all major decisions adjusted with HQ level prior to implementation.
