SAP Developer - Brussels, Belgium or Europe Remotely

12 months rolling contract - €450 (Euros) per day - to be based anywhere in the EU, as work can be done remotely

You will ideally possess an EU passport.

My client global leading financial services company seek an experienced SAP Developer with around 8 years experience working within financial information systems (not limited to banking), general experience in funds management is preferred.

Details Of The SAP Developer Position
  • The mission consists of maintaining and developing the SAP accounting part ( ECC 6.0).
  • The main areas concerned are treasury, accounting, budget, G/L account, income, VAT, financial year transition, SAP Platform upgrade (OSS notes) and specific ones like interfaces with other internal systems (ABAC WorkFlow, Assets), Legal Entity/Bank Account validation, Mass Payment facility.
Tasks Required For The SAP Developer Position
  • Analysis of user/functional requirements.
  • Translating functional requirements into technical specifications.
  • Technical Analysis.
  • Technical design.
  • Programming IT software in ABAP & Javascript.
  • Implementation of SOA webservices.
  • Testing (unit testing and integration testing), validation of solutions.
  • Documentation (technical and functional) including documentation for the support team.
Technical Skills

Skills required for the SAP Developer position:
  • 8 years experience is required with financial information systems (eg, but not limited to: banking). General experience in funds management.
  • 11 years general experience in development.
The Most Used Technologies On The Project Are

ABAP: Objects, Workbench, Performance Tuning, BAPI.

Javascript.

SOA Web Services.

SAP Hana.

SAP Fiori.
  • 9 years experience is required with one (or more) of the following:
  • Expertise in traditional SAP ERP development, integration and test tools like ABAP, ABAP Objects, ABAP WorkBench, ABAP performance tuning, Dynpro, SQL Trace, RFC, iDoc/ALE, BAPI, SAP Workflow, testing with eCATT and within Solution Manager.
  • SAP Smartforms.
  • Expertise in non-traditional SAP development, integration and test tools like SAP NetWeaver, SAP Web AS, SAP Process Integration (PI), SAP J2EE, Java Web DynPro, WSDL, Web services, XML.
  • SOA expertise with the SAP SOA solution (SAP Composition Environment), SAP PI, and with Web Services development in SAP.
  • Expertise with SAP Fiori and SAP Hana.
