Magics Technologies is a company located in Geel, Belgium, who develops hi-reliability integrated circuits for autonomous systems. Our core mission is developing technologies that support mankind in accessing new resources (e.g., fusion energy and key materials) and exploration of other habitable planets for our sustainable future.

Magics provides rad-hard ICs for space and nuclear environments, including CMOS image sensors, motion control chipsets, high-performance CMOS ICs for satellites, etc. Meanwhile, we are also developing next generation smart semiconductor devices which leverage the benefit of combining advanced circuit techniques and embedded AI.

We are now looking for several Senior/Mid-level Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineersto join its team, to work on the definition and development of IC products for sensing, robotics, and machine learning applications. Key qualifications:

  • PhD or Master’s degree in microelectronics or electronics engineering.
  • 5+ year of experience (PhD research experiences are counted as well) in high-performance Analog and/or Mixed-signal IC development in advanced CMOS process.
  • Solid understanding of Analog and/or Mixed-signal IC design fundamentals, design tools and methodologies.
  • Experience taking projects from the concept phase, through chip architecture, writing electrical specifications and process technology selection.
  • Demonstrated design expertise on Analog/Mixed-signal IP blocks, e.g., ADC/DAC, PLL/DLL, Amplifier, LDO, DC/DC power converter and ESD devices.
  • Knowledge in IC layout design is a plus.
  • Knowledge about lot characterization, chip calibration, and lab evaluation is a plus.
  • Work experience with high volume manufacturing is a plus.
  • Good communication skills in English.

  • Design key analog/mixed-signal building blocks
  • System-on-chip integration and verification
  • Supervise layout design
  • Support lab evaluation phase
  • Documentation of designs
