(Senior) Enterprise Security Architect

In the role you will be involved in ensuring accurate protection of information assets by describing the relationship between people, processes, and technology and their relation to the external environment. You will be translating the organization’s business needs and assurance goals into a security vision, building an enterprise security architecture, creating processes, providing documentation and diagrams to guide technical security decisions.

As an Enterprise Security Architect, you will acquire and maintain knowledge of Basware products, solution architecture, and internal services to ensure that sufficient technical and organizational measures are in place to provide effective security detection and prevention for threats and risks.

You will also be providing subject matter expertise on security topics and driving security development programs and initiatives from planning to completion. You will be defining the overall security requirements by utilizing common security best practices, standards, and frameworks. You will support in providing advisory towards customers and internal stakeholders, support in managing security risks, threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents, participate in supplier management, ensure proper awareness, and complete other security-related tasks assigned to you.

You will collaborate with external partners, customers, and different organizational units including product management, R&D, production/operations. The role can include some occasional travel, mainly to other Basware locations. In this position, you will be reporting to Director, Security (CISO) in Basware Digital Office Security team.

To thrive and succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

• Minimum 5 years of technical experience in one or more security domain areas
• Knowledge of security standards, best practices and concepts for cloud environments and IT infrastructure
• Experience working with ICT infrastructure, and cloud environments
• Experience in project management and leading development activities
• Experience in creating policies and processes
• Self-starter, results- and solution-oriented with the ability to drive change independently, following through on commitments and executing in demanding situations
• Proven solid analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to clearly articulate, present and describe solution using e.g., diagrams and processes
• Proactively establish and maintain effective working relationships
• Positive attitude and interested to learn
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Enthusiasm and drive to develop Basware Security to the next level
