Senior Product, Pack & Process Implementation Technologist
This role is critical in identifying, developing and delivering the overall site priorities, this by means of 3 elements:
Project management, factory support and continuous improvement.
The role reports into the system Quality & food safety team and will be part of the site’s core team regarding improvements.

What would be your key responsibilities?

The PPI Technologist Has 3 Main Goals
  • Lead the implementation of new: products, processes and packaging (equipment/lines) in the factory through the successful translation of concepts & specification to fully self-sustainable production
  • Drive continuous improvement in capabilities and capacities through all changes impacting process, product and packaging (by improvement related to the top losses of the site and Value Leadership initiatives.)
  • Lead complex solving problems, using advanced problem solving techniques and 6 sigma methodologies supporting the different pillars in the Mars Supply Excellence program such as Factory Mars Operating System, Focused improvement.

What are we looking for?
  • Chemical Engineering/ Food Science Degree, Engineering or equivalent, BsC or MsC preferred
  • Experience in similar or related roles in the Food industry (Quality, Food Safety, Engineering or Product/Process development)
  • Project Management Capabilities & Experience
  • Intermediate to advanced understanding of statistical analysis, numerical modelling, and data analysis, preferably Lean, TPM and Six Sigma experience
