The operating division Monomers develops and produces isocyanate and polyamide for applications in the automobile, construction and packaging industry. High-Quality basic chemicals and specialty products in the field of inorganic chemistry also belong to the portfolio. With production sites worldwide we help our customers to cover their need for sustainable and competitive materials.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Become a member of our unit to support the global Controlling and Reporting for the operating division Monomers. This is your task package:

For possible capital investment projects you coordinate and conduct the economic evaluation.
To prepare approval commission documents you closely collaborate with strategic marketing, our technology unit as well as corporate units.
You ensure the efficient integration of capital expenditures into the overall process of Monomer’s operational planning.
Furthermore, you execute a deviation analysis of the planned & actual spending and you initiate countermeasures when necessary.
You will be actively involved in the decision process of Monomer’s Senior Management by presenting your analysis results and alternative actions.
QUALIFICATIONS

You successfully finished your studies in Economics with a focus on Finance and Controlling or you have a technical background with several years of experience in e.g. profitability assessments.
You have more than 3 years of experience in controlling or a similar occupation.
Solid process knowledge in profitability and investment calculations and budget planning is necessary.
You demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
You are proficient in English and a good knowledge of German, French, or Dutch is a plus.
