Group & Division Responsibilities
Value Chain (VC) is responsible for the planning, development and sales performance of parts, services and accessories. Our Value Chain processes are supported by business applications.
Within Parts Division our Strategic Systems Team covers a range of business applications key to reach our challenging targets.
Team Responsibilities
These Business Applications include Parts &Accessory Planning tool (MAPS), Cataloguing (EPC, Menu Pricing tool) and a centralised Parts & Accessory Pricing tool.
Your Responsibilities
Within the team of Parts & Accessory Planning Tool (MAPS) we are looking for a Product Owner to lead the team.
In this role you will be responsibility to develop and communicate the product goal, create and clearly communicate product backlog items, and prioritise the backlog to maximize business value. Train and coach members and have regular report out meetings with your management and stakeholders.
Stakeholders include a diverse teams within Parts & Accessories Development, Homologation, Quality & Planning teams .
Through the fundamentals of SCRUM and Agile development you will further develop the MAPS tool through iterative and incremental software development.
- to organise regular stakeholder meetings in order to map and analyse current development processes;
- to make proposals for process improvements;
- to translate these proposals into draft User Requirements;
- to validate draft User Requirements with TME sr. management;
- to support the Hand-over to MAPS system development team;
- to provide regular updates (in writing) of the project to TME sr. management, including overall status of the project, issues, risks, forecast, etc.;
- to organize, structure and ensure User Acceptance of the (prototype) system;
- to provide (written) answers to TME’s organization on questions related to the MAPS system;
- to structure & document Standard Operating Procedures for the MAPS system;
- to support the user tests of MAPS system
- to support the final deployment of MAPS system in TME
Your Profile
- Degree in Engineering or Software Development
- Experience in Automotive Industry is a plus
- Strong numerical, logical and analytical skills
- Strong Project Management Skills
- Strong Communication & Visualisation skills
- Fluent in English, any other European language is an asset
- Belgium - Brussels (Evere & Zaventem): Toyota Motor Europe, Head Office & Technical Centre
