The Automatic Systems (AS) group is part of the French company IER (Bolloré Group). Its registered office is located in Belgium. Automatic Systems designs, manufactures and services a wide range of pedestrian and vehicle access control equipment. For more than 30 years, we have been among the world leaders in the access control sector. The main markets for Automatic Systems products are toll roads, public transport (metro, train, streetcar), airports, sea and river ports, car parks but also private and public buildings or industrial sites with reinforced security.

Function

YOUR FUTURE JOB

Role

For our subsidiary in Kontich, under the supervision of the after-sales manager, you will carry out technical interventions, maintenance work and repairs on our equipment’s in Belgium (mainly in Flanders). As part of this role, you will perform the following tasks, among others:

  • Carry out various interventions on access control installations in order to guarantee their proper functioning.
  • Cooperate in the implementation of the preventive maintenance plan
  • Installation of new access control equipment.
  • Make any suggestions for improvement of the product range.
  • Manage priorities.
  • Respecting safety rules is an absolute priority.
  • Strive for customer satisfaction.
  • Update daily reports.

Profile

YOUR STRENGTHS

  • You own a Bachelor degree (electromechanical), A2 level or equivalent through experience.
  • You speak very good Dutch and have good notions of French and English.
  • You have several years of business experience.
  • You are in possession of a driving license B.
  • You are strong-willed and enthusiastic, dynamic, organized and flexible.
  • You are not afraid to troubleshoot electrical installations.
  • You can work independently and are communicative in order to find solutions together.
  • You have a good knowledge of information technology.
  • Safe working is part of your routine (VCA).
