Tasks and Qualifications:
We are looking for a simulation engineer who will simulate automated intralogistic processes by means of discrete event simulators.

This means:
  • You support the sales process through computer simulation of automated intralogistics solutions which entails: Convert AutoCAD drawings, review the simulation requests, define the scope of the simulation, collect missing information, analysis and preparation of customer data to use in the simulation model, program dynamic behaviour, analyse simulation results, report and present conclusions.
  • You estimate the effect of planned design changes and are involved in the design of rules and algorithms for the Warehouse Management Software
  • You’re responsible for planning, implementation of simulation projects in compliance with quality, costs and deadlines.
  • You interact with sales team (and other departments where needed) and you are involved in the design of the installation.

What are we looking for:
  • You have a degree in engineering, mathematics or natural sciences
  • Analytical thinking and creativity comes natural to you.
  • You have a flair for realistic and economical solutions
  • You have experience with scripting (eg. Matlab, Simulink, SimTalk, VBA or others) and simulation background
  • Experience in Automod is a plus.
  • You have the ability to work in a team, communication skills, problem solving skills and have a good customer orientation
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Ideally you have previous knowledge in logistics and in the field of logistics systems / storage and retrieval machines / multi-shuttles / materials handling technology
  • You are communicative and are fluent in English. Other languages is a plus.
