Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our team on a freelance basis. This role involves translating a high-level software architecture into enterprise-grade code. You will be responsible for developing software at the intersection of Python, C/C++, Machine Learning, and GPU acceleration within the NVIDIA ecosystem. You will also advise the team on the best tools and libraries to use. Our cloud specialists will cover the DevOps part.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Software Development: Develop software in an eco-system using Python, C/C++, Machine Learning, and GPU acceleration (NVIDIA ecosystem), selecting the right tools for each task.
  • High-Performance Computing: Translate research-based applications (Python, Jupyter-Notebook, TensorFlow) into high-performing GPU-accelerated components using Python, C++, CUDA, and related technologies.
  • Performance Optimization: Guard and optimize the overall performance of high-resolution image processing pipelines in a containerized Linux environment.
  • Code Quality: Deliver high-quality and maintainable code, including documentation and unit testing, while coaching colleagues.
  • Best Practices: Use modern best practices and tools, including Jenkins, Artifactory, Confluence, Jira, and GitHub, and set up and configure these tools for the team.
  • Interface Design: Bring experience in designing interfaces to other components.
  • Parallel Computing and Image Processing: Demonstrate expertise in parallel computing and/or image processing, considered a valuable plus.

Profile Requirement:

  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development. Experience in healthcare-related industry/technology is a plus.
  • Python Development: 5+ years as a Python developer, with a strong understanding of the Celery library.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Python, C/C++, Machine Learning, and GPU acceleration.
  • Quality Focus: Motivated to produce code that stands on its own, requiring no additional clarification or documentation.
  • Tools and Best Practices: Familiar with Jenkins, Artifactory, Confluence, Jira, and GitHub.
