Scope
As Software Engineer in Test Automation, you take part in the complete EVS software development and testing processes.

As a member of an Agile team, you assure the quality control of software and hardware, by describing, developing, and executing different test tools and test scripts. You are focused on the testability, robustness, and performance of the product delivered. You also assure continuous integration using next-generation technologies and automation tools to assure a highly scalable and reliable infrastructure. You are responsible for planning and executing automated functional and non-functional tests and document test results.
Job Description


  • Setup, maintain and operate test automation frameworks


  • Design use cases according to the product specifications, using test strategies and technics


  • Develop and execute automated tests, report the results and verify bug fixes


  • Contribute to the continuous integration and delivery of products under his responsibilities, with a focus on continuous improvement


  • Build an adequate test plan based on risk assessment and time constraints


  • Be proactive to improve test coverage and to find defects earlier


  • Knows the entire system start to end


  • Be part of a multidisciplinary Agile team


Profile


  • Bachelor or master degree in ICT, Computer Science, Multimedia or equivalent degree/experience


  • Able to execute tasks autonomously


  • Experience in quality assurance or application testing


  • ISTQB certified


  • Knowledge of software testing and automation tools


  • Knowledge of a programming language (Java, Javascript, Python, C#)


  • Basic Linux knowledge


  • Open for changes and continuous learning


  • Result oriented and team player


  • Good written and verbal communication skills


  • French speaker and good knowledge of English (written and spoken)
