Task Description

The ITS Servicing department is responsible for the development and operational support of the Servicing business capabilities such as Incident and Problem management of Proximus. The strategic platform for this is ServiceNow.

In order to continue our innovative and fast-growing implementation, we are looking for a Solution Architect for the Servicing domain.

As Solution Architect, you are responsible for translating business and IT needs into a solution design within the domain and providing an integration architecture with other applications and business capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • As the Solution Architect, you are responsible to define a shared technical and architectural vision by determining the system, sub-system, interfaces, validating technology assumptions and evaluation of alternatives
  • You operate in the context of the Agile Release Train and work closely with Agile teams providing technical knowledge and experience
  • Besides designing the architecture for specific business solutions, you also develop the overall Architectural Runway (CI/CD)
  • You establish critical NFRs at the system or large solution level.
  • You understand and operate within Lean Budgets
  • You work with portfolio stakeholders, notably the Enterprise Architect, to develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of enabler epics
  • You participate in Program Increment (PI) Planning and Pre- and Post-PI Planning, System and Solution Demos, and Inspect and Adapt events
  • You work with Product and Solution Management to determine capacity allocation for enablement work
  • You provide oversight throughout the whole solutioning development and foster Built-In Quality
  • You empower the teams to take ownership and to make local decisions allowing faster flow of work

Experience
  • You have a bachelor or master degree (preferably in an IT related domain) or equivalent by experience.
  • You have profound experience in analysis or architecture design in a complex IT environment.
  • You have hands-on experience with agile and waterfall development methodologies and UML modelling techniques.
  • You have knowledge of the enterprise business processes and the technical capabilities of large systems for enterprise automation.
  • Knowledge of the telecom ecosystem is considered an asset.
  • You have strong analytical skills and anticipate the impact of possible solutions to complex problems.
  • You are optimistic, solution oriented, creative with an open mind.
  • Customer centricity is part of your nature.
  • You value communication and collaboration with others.
  • You have a learning attitude.
  • Good knowledge (both oral and written) of English as well as Dutch or French.
