What is a Solution Consultant at Showpad?


As a Solution Consultant/Engineer, you will play an essential role in Showpad as you will have a massive impact on its growth. Our sales team shares the Showpad success story with organisations around the world and helps them understand the value Showpad offers to align Sales and Marketing.
You’ll present the Showpad solutions and deliver thought leadership throughout the Sales cycle for enterprise-grade Sales Enablement projects. To accomplish this, you should have a strong desire to set the vision, translating business objectives into actionable enablement solutions. The Solution Consultant will act as a trusted advisor to our customers while securing the technical win for Showpad.


Your Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with the Account Executives in proving the value of the Showpad solution,
question the customer’s status quo and uncover our prospects’ pains.
  • Demonstrate the business value of Showpad through Product Demos and Workshops.
  • Translate complex customer requirements into compelling solutions.
  • Develop customised presentations, demonstrations and prototypes to prove a solution’s
business value to C-suite.
  • Coordinate and manage multiple concurrent solution cycles through close collaboration with
cross functional teams.
  • Liaise with Product Managers to provide feedback from clients about product requirements; or
ideas to help them innovate or stay ahead of where the market is going.
  • Understand customer technology stacks and how Showpad can integrate with their
Ecosystem.
  • Be a trusted advisor among internal and external constituents (up to C level) based on
program management, product, and solution knowledge.
  • Optimise communication and ensure effective knowledge transfer to the Professional
Services team for implementation.
  • Display initiative, self-motivation and deliver high quality results along with meeting all
expectations for both internal and external customers.
  • Have a strong interest in growing your career and participating in our internal training
programs and mentorship initiatives.


Attributes we’re looking for

  • 2-4 years of experience in a sales engineering, solutions consulting or customer success role (SaaS experience preferred).
  • Native-level proficiency in French
  • Experience calling on decision-makers and C-Level executives.
  • Strong ability to find solutions based on abstract data and information.
  • Inquisitive, practical, and passionate about technology and sharing knowledge. Likes to be the first to know something and to understand why and how things happen.
  • Good at explaining ideas and finding ways to keep people’s attention.
  • A sales mindset and ability to match the Showpad value proposition with the prospect’s pains.
  • Experience in selling into a highly competitive market.
  • Commitment to providing an exceptional customer experience.


Bonus Points


  • Experience with CRM
  • Understanding or knowledge of the sales enablement space
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in a technical or business discipline
