Key responsibilities:

  • Discuss the product specifications and architecture with stakeholders

  • Interpret the user requirements and verify the product is fully compliant

  • Work out electronical solutions and implement them yourself and/or together with your colleagues

  • Debug on system integration problems that arise during development by measuring and monitoring on the electronical solutions from Barco and customer systems

  • Specify test cases to verify the implementation against the specifications

  • Take the lead in the definition and selection of project resources

  • Set up a work breakdown and assign the right people to these subtasks

  • Provide technical guidance and propose solutions

  • Plan & conduct technical project meetings & report on project health status

  • Work together with different stakeholders throughout the different stages of development

  • The remote development teams in US, China, Italy, Taiwan & Korea

  • The contributing departments like procurement, operations, services, ...

  • The involved external suppliers

We are looking for a new colleague who:

  • Has an engineering degree

  • Has at least 5 years of experience in electronics hardware

  • Has good communication & facilitation skills

  • Has good project management and planning skills

  • Has a can-do attitude, is a self-starter

  • Is fluent in English

  • Is prepared to travel to other sites when needed
