Camper is a Spanish footwear company with an international presence whose headquarters are in Inca (Mallorca). At Camper we focus on design and originality, so we are looking for highly energetic people with who know how to transmit our innovative spirit to customers.

To be part of the leadership team in our store in Antwerp we are looking for a Store Manager. This figure is the Brand Ambassador Camper fundamental to our business, since it is the person to whom the responsibility of the store management is delegated and on which our success depends.

As a Store Manager, your tasks will be as follows:

1. Store team management

• You will be the person responsible for product and sales training in to maximize team spirit, manage their development through bi-annual performance evaluation and control of KPIs, ensuring that sales objectives are achieved and that our staff promote Camper values through the best customer service

• Plan and execute strategies to keep your team motivated at all times and steadily improve their performance

• Manage staff hours within your store and provide correct coverage while maintaining the established profitability target.

• Attract and select the best talent for your store with the help of the HR team

• Responsible for absenteeism control, sickness leaves and holidays

• Ensure warehouse organization, stock and inventory results are outstanding

2. Expert in customer service, store management and market trends

• Store opening and closing, as well as incoming merchandise registration, product returns, orders and transfers

• Advise the client on the qualities and manufacture of our footwear, and provide information on the most appropriate shoe-care products during the sale

• Propose and carry out actions to attract new customers to the store and increase the number of loyal customers to both your shop and the brand

• Share the latest market trends with the team and the business in terms of design, quality of service, etc.

3. Reporting and administration

• Prepare and share daily sales reports with HQ staff and your area manager

• Ensure that the policies and strategies of marketing, visual merchandising as well as internal controls and back office activities (stocks, administration ...) are applied correctly and in the established deadlines.

What are we looking for?

• Legal right to work in the EU without requiring visa sponsorship

• At least 5 years of experience in direct sales in Fashion Retail, footwear or similar

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Store Manager, otherwise any experience as Team Leader, Floor Manager, Department Manager, Assistant Store Manager or similar roles in which you’ve overseen direct team management

• Fluent in Dutch and a good level of English is mandatory; good level of French and other additional languages will be considered a plus

• Availability to work full-time from Monday to Sunday, in the morning and / or afternoon (fundamental requirement)

• Great communication skills, data analysis and decision making

• Strong team spirit and capable of easily establishing interpersonal relationships

• Day-to-day proactivity and result orientation

• SAP management knowledge would be preferred
