Job DescriptionYour role:In order to achieve Carmeuse’s decarbonization targets
  • You support the Carmeuse Chief Carbon Officer and regional teams in setting feasible decarbonization goals and developing the decarbonization strategy, including defining successful investment portfolios
  • You develop market intelligence with respect to decarbonization methodologies, peer approaches and best practices
  • You creat e data driven recommendations with respect to investment approaches by assessing, analyzing, and synthesizing a large set of options and techno-economical conditions
  • you model implementation scenarios with respect to decarbonization roadmap to facilitate discussion with Board/ Executive committee and the Carmeuse regions
  • You collaborate with and support the Carmeuse regions in defining, evaluating and implementing specific strategic projects related to the decarbonization roadmap
  • You ensure high standards within the development of decarbonization projects and align proposals for investment decision to the companies’ best practice
  • You track and challenge progress on the group CO 2 roadmap and related project portfolio
Your profile:
  • Master’s degree in science or engineering
  • 5+ years of work experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably consulting, big four, corporate strategy department of a large company and strong exposure to industrial environment
  • Strong analytical skills with good exposure to strategy definition
  • Team player – able to lead by influencing
  • Proactive and pragmatic – able to prioritize projects and agendas
  • Project Management experience
  • English and local language of country of base and main operations – advanced verbal & writing
  • Excellent communication skill
