Our client is looking for a supply chain coordinator to support the supply chain team in the headquarters inGenk.As a supply chain analyst you will optimize and maintain running supply chain processes and develop new supply chain processes. You safeguard and train the regional teams in the supply chain processes and procedures, develop and maintain global supply chain work instructions and manuals. By making analyses, calculations, simulations etc. you support the regional supply chain departments, the set up and implementation of new branches or business development for new customers/projects, with the aim to optimize processes and reduce costs.Besides you are involved in the operations of the entire shipment process and act as a liaison to suppliers, customers, and brokers. For the goal of reducing freight costs and streamline the logistic processes will you review and optimize the accuracy and flow of documentation, benchmark and negotiate terms and rates with carriers, make follow-up…In addition to your daily tasks, you get the chance to work together with your colleagues on a variety of international quality related projects.You report directly to the Supply Chain Manager.WAT ZOEKEN WE?
  • Master or minimum bachelor degree or equal by experience
  • Experience in supply chain coordination in the automotive sector or dynamic environment is a plus
  • Meticulous, numerical and analytical mindset
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player but also able to work independently
  • Good spoken and written knowledge of English
