In order to support the global supply chain team located in Tongeren, we are currently looking for a: Supply chain planner

Functie

As a supply chain planner, you will be part of a young team, responsible for the forecasting, end-to-end planning and production buying process for assigned product families.

• You will be accountable for developing, implementing, and maintaining a supply strategy for the global distribution and manufacturing network, including contract manufacturers, for assigned products.
• You review and analyse demand inputs, including the statistical forecast, sales & marketing inputs and regional S&OP, to determine a consensus forecast that drives the supply chain and revenue forecast.
• You are accountable for production buying & driving execution of prioritized global supply strategy (right time/right location/right volume).
• You set and manage the supplier future production requirements in support of global supply needs.
• You actively participate and support new product introductions to ensure that supply network plans are optimally created and that supply plans are executed in support of the established timelines.
• You manage lifecycle changes including distribution changes and end-of-life (EOL).
• You work in close collaboration with your colleagues in sales, forecasting and production.
• You report directly to the European Distribution Center network planning supervisor.

Functie eisen

• You are a young potential with a at least a bachelor’s degree in fields related to supply chain management.
• You have expertise in critical and analytical thinking, negotiating and problem solving.
• You can work in a matrix environment and build strong relationships by being transparent, reliable, and delivering on commitments.
• You are able to provide innovative ideas to optimize supply chain and generate new ideas or alternatives that create value.
• You can work with multiple data and information sources, be well organized and adaptable to changes in business demand.
• You have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills (English and Dutch) and can deal effectively with all levels of management and external suppliers.
