Sustainability Practice Lead - BCW

Can you lead and inspire a highly regarded, motivated, and successful Sustainability team of 20+ consultants?

An exceptional opportunity has arisen to lead BCW Brussels’ Sustainability Team as part of leading communications agency - BCW Global. This is a senior leadership role with high-level responsibilities and an opportunity to drive BCW’s overall business and people objectives. The role incudes overall responsibility for a significant and diverse client portfolio, business development and marketing of BCW Brussels’ Sustainability offer, with particular focus on chemicals, circular economy, energy and ESG.

• Help identify growth opportunities for all team members and guide the team to address collective and individual challenges;
• Ensure team members are making the most of the dynamics and opportunities linked to a diverse and inclusive workplace and network; and
• Ensure that you and client teams understand, deliver, and innovate against a diverse set of client needs.

Requirements

• Lead and manage a diverse team of 20+ consultants, define the team culture, structure, and strategic priorities;
• Be a leading voice on BCW Brussels Leadership Team, helping to shape and execute BCW Brussels’s strategy;
• Manage and be responsible for all aspects of the Sustainability team, including but not limited to overall strategy, performance management, financial performance, team well-being;
• Identify, attract, and hire new talent to the team;
• Help grow the BCW Sustainability offer and client roster through business development, organic client growth, marketing, and delivering high quality work.

• A team leader and builder, with the ability to hire, inspire and mentor the next generation of integrated communications consultants;
• An innovator and thought leader, able to anticipate trends and with a vision of the future of integrated communications; and
• A team player and networker, who can operate and succeed in a matrixed/network environment;
• Significant experience in a consultancy, corporate role, or professional services firm;
• Deep expertise in public affairs and integrated communications;
• Expertise across EU policy issues, with a strong focus on sustainability policy; and
• Established network with policy-makers, media, business leaders and influencers.
