System Administrator with Microsoft COTS specialisation


  • Working Location:Mons, Belgium

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:


Essential Qualifications/Experience:

· Knowledge of the entire Microsoft Operating system product line administration, with focus on Windows 7 and Windows I 8.1 as client operating systems
· Experience of Windows Administration and relevant certifications; e.g. MCITP
· Experience in:
ü Client provisioning and bare metal install using MDT and SCeM as toolsets
ü Troubleshooting client OS and software provisioning problems
ü Application Provisioning technologies
ü Remote application provisioning services based on, but not limited to, Windows Remote App concept
· Knowledge of NCIA Core Enterprise Services activities and specifically: Kiosk management and REACH Support


Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

  • Thin client I zero client deployment technology


DUTIES/ROLE

  • Prepare and maintain operational workstation baseline for multiple networks within the agency
  • Assure successful deployment of security updates and anti- malware/data loss prevention endpoints
  • Assure security hardening based on security settings and group policies
  • Provide automated reporting on utilisation of resources with regards to licensing and capacity management
  • Load users and workstations into a datacentre - centric infrastructure
  • Install and document remote application provisioning services based on, but not limited to, Windows Remote App concept
  • Liaise with the Agency’s Centralised Service Desk for incident, problem and change management
