Context:

Our client design and manufacture a complete range of transportation system : infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility solutions.

Their goal is to solving real mobility challenges and achieving international projects with sustainable local impact.

In the R&D department, you will be a part of a multidisciplinary and multicultural team including systems engineers, embedded software experts & V&V engineers working on signalling solutions.

Your role:

In collaboration with the other members of the team, you will analyze the interna and external input needs, define and allocate requirements, evaluate design trade-offs, analyse technical skills, define the system architecture, functions and interfaces.

Your tasks:

  • Analyze, clarify and confirm input requirements and needs
  • Perform conceptual design by preparing system models, design studies, design rationales, design principles, real time analysis, modelling & mock-ups... for technical de-risking and optimization Solve Interfaces
  • Elaborate formal modelling and requirements writing according to design standard and guidelines
  • Formalize and maintain the system specifications
  • Ensure traceability through-out the formal documentation, up to the input needs
  • Call, conduct, and participate to technical reviews (design reviews, document reviews) including consultation to end-users and experts
  • Interact with other System Engineers and with other métier engineers to ensure the design fits into the intended architecture
  • Ensure that the system follows standardization approach by reusing existing solutions or by implementing reusable solutions, and by providing an efficient system deployment kit (tools, user documentation…)

Your skills:

  • You have an engineering degree in Electronics, Telecom, Automation, Robotics (or in another similar technical speciality - mandatory)
  • Ability to write expectations in English : clear, rigorous and concise
  • Experience in programming language (basic skills)
  • You are fluent in English
  • You have an analytical mindset, a good team spirit and communication
  • You are perseverant and able to work autonomously
