6 month fixed term contract - 5 days on site - Salary is 75k for the 6 months

As a High Voltage (HV) Technical Lead you’ll oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of HV electrical systems on major construction projects. Working with diverse, high-performing teams, you’ll help deliver complex infrastructure safely, on time, and to the highest technical standards.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the delivery of HV infrastructure from planning to energisation, including substations, switchgear, transformers, and utility connections
• Oversee construction sequencing, safety, commissioning readiness, and energisation planning
• Coordinate with utilities, OEMs, contractors, and internal teams to align technical deliverables
• Drive resolution of technical issues and risks, ensuring compliance and quality
• Manage technical reviews, submittals, and inspection documentation
• Support variation and change management related to HV scope
• Attend and lead progress and commissioning meetings with key stakeholders

We would love to hear from you if you:

• Have strong experience delivering HV electrical systems on large or complex construction projects
• Bring an engineering or construction background, ideally with HV or energy infrastructure experience
• Understand utility protocols, commissioning practices, and safety standards for HV systems
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Are proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to safety and quality
