We are seeking an experienced PTC ThingWorx Developer to join a dynamic team and to play a pivotal role in developing innovative IoT solutions that drive the business forward.

This mission will be to support a project, with a duration estimated at 4-6 weeks.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom IoT applications using PTC ThingWorx to meet the specific needs of the company.
  • Integrate and configure various IoT devices, sensors, and gateways to connect seamlessly with ThingWorx platform.
  • Develop and implement data models, scripting, and analytics to collect, store, analyze, and visualize data from IoT devices.
  • Ensure the security of IoT applications by implementing appropriate authentication, encryption, and access control mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, data scientists, and business analysts, to understand requirements and deliver IoT solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers on the team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with IoT applications and perform regular maintenance tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IoT and ThingWorx developments and trends, and recommend innovative solutions to improve our IoT ecosystem.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a PTC ThingWorx developer with hands-on development experience.
  • Strong expertise in IoT development, including device integration, data modeling, analytics, and visualization.
  • Proficiency in PTC ThingWorx platform, including ThingWorx Composer and ThingWorx Analytics.
  • Experience creating Mashups for applications with Thingworx Platform.
  • Experience with ThingWorx Flow.
  • Experience with Kepware integration.
  • Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, Java, Python) for IoT application development.
  • Familiarity with database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data management in an IoT context.
  • Knowledge of IoT protocols and communication standards such as MQTT, CoAP, and REST.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • PTC ThingWorx certification.
