Punch Powertrain is a multinational, headquartered in Sint-Truiden, with a strong presence in Europe and China. As an independent automotive supplier we develop and manufacture a complete portfolio of powertrain solutions for the passenger car segment (conventional, hybrid and full electric). Our innovative products provide excellent driving dynamics, enhanced comfort, fun of driving and an ever improving fuel economy.

You are working in a development team for e-transmissions. You will be working in the Test Center & validation department where automatic transmissions, hybrid and full electric powertrains are built and tested. Your main responsibility is the requirement validation of a specific part or module of the transmission.

You Will :

Ø Convert abstract test requests into real test procedures and test equipment.

Ø Ensure the execution of a part of the extended product design validation test plan and you make sure the agreed milestones are being met.

Ø Convert the long term planning in weekly planning and solve roadblocks which endanger the progress in order to ensure high efficiency.

Ø Prepare, coordinate, perform (data) analysis and reporting of development tests.

Ø Build up knowledge of testing facilities all over Europe.

Ø Help to work towards quality requirements as described in ISO 17025.

Ø Work together with different disciplines to solve possible roadblocks.

Profile:

Background:

Ø Master in Automotive, Electro-Mechanical or Electronics Engineering with a strong interest for automotive or equivalent by experience

Ø Experience in the field of automotive testing and testing facilities.

Ø Experience with Hybrid Powertrains and Automatic Transmission is an advantage

Ø Experience in technically leading a team

Ø VECTOR CANape; CANalyser

Ø CATMAN

Ø AVL-CRETA;

Ø INCA

Ø Matlab/ Simulink
