  • Must be comfortable working in a highly regulated environment, involving processes and controls.
  • Must be able to prepare & document thoroughly and precisely (change management documentation and preparation, update technical drawings).
  • Highly proactive and committed
  • Good problem-solving skills in WLAN/networking related operations
  • Able to lead a technical meeting/workshop with the client and to talk about the technical solution
  • Able to communicate with different profiles (technical, non-technical, culturally diverse).
  • Ability to work as well individually as in a team (sometimes many stakeholders involved).
  • Ability to suggest improvements while doing a technical analysis.
  • At ease working in a highly outsourced environment involving global delivery centers.
  • Flexible (some migrations to be done after hours, during weekends).
  • Good communication skills in English (mandatory). Dutch desirable. French or any other EU language is a plus.
  • Open to travel occasionally (EMEA theater).
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow is a plus.

Requirements

  • Designing and engineering Cisco Network environment: (W)LAN mainly.
  • Experience with IOS XE. Catalyst 9300 and 9400 hardware.
  • Strong and broad technical knowledge and experience with switching / routing in a large and complex network, DHCP, DNS, IP (Schema, subnetting, summarization) IP management tools, advanced WAN routing, WAN/LAN/Wireless LAN topologies, MPLS and other WAN technologies, unified Communication, traffic shaping / QoS, EIGRP/BGP, multimedia/VoIP solutions (SIP), firewalls, and contact center technology.
  • Strong to expert knowledge of Routing and Switching systems; strong understanding of Routing Protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP) and Gateway Redundancy Protocols (HSRP, VRRP).
  • WLAN knowledge is a must (Cisco WLC 9800/5508/5520/3504)
  • Knowledge of Cisco ICE is an asset
  • Valid Work permit and resicdence in Belgium
