As a works manager, you are responsible for the operational execution of the works outside. You can rely on a team of site superintendents/project engineers. You report directly to the project manager. You focus on the bigger scheme of things whereas the superintendents deal with day to day issues.

Responsibilities

  • You organize the planning of the works.
  • You will be focusing on the optimization and execution of the project.
  • You’ll take care of the client’s needs (internal and external).
  • You contribute to efficient realization of the project activities.
  • You organize the planning of the works.
  • QHSE-S standards and within time and budget.
  • You work closely together with superintendents/project Engineers on site and you can coördinate the operational staff.

Your Profile

  • You have a master degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a specialization in construction, or the equivalent by experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience with complex (hydraulic) engineering projects is required.
  • You can work autonomously and are a problem-solver by nature.
  • You have a hands-on mentality.
  • Teamwork is one thing you value highly.
  • Working abroad on one of our projects for a longer period of time is no issue.
  • English is our common language. Knowledge of any other language is an asset.
