Role Overview
You will work alongside the team lead, a seasoned account director, and will play a leading role in developing and managing PR projects and integrated communications campaigns for a number of key accounts in the Belgian practice.
- Account management: you are the day-to-day lead on a number of clients and projects which you manage with help of the team lead and with a number of team members. You will follow-up on ongoing client projects and ensure all client deliverables are met with due quality;
- PR expertise: with your background in PR & corporate communications you work with the team lead on providing clients with strategic counsel on their business challenges;
- Media Relations: you advise clients on how to best engage with journalists and be in constant conversations with media stakeholders yourself to pitch stories;
- Project Management: you are in charge of leading client projects and your second-to-none planning will help ensure project success and strong results;
- Team development: you lead a number of direct reports and inspire your team members to meet objectives by communicating tasks with the help of your team lead. Providing support and coaching to junior members of team whenever possible. Demonstrating energy and enthusiasm to on-going work and projects at all times;
- Account profit management: you take an active role in the financial profitability of client business and identifying opportunities for additional business through projects
- CX: you develop productive relationships with day to day client contacts;
- Strong and evidential interest in the Belgian business and media landscape is required, experience with digital and social media or with crisis & issues management is a plus;
- 4 years’ experience in consultancy setting, with proven success in managing and growing accounts. Experience in driving or participating in new business is welcome;
- Passion for communications: one who enjoys excellent communications skills (written and presentation), organizational and interpersonal skills. An ability to conduct research and devise analytical and considered strategies based on such research. Experience in leading a team is a must;
- Ability to work with drive, energy and motivation, an energetic, flexible, active team player with a good sense of humour. A creative mind and keen to help push the boundaries of communications.
