You will work within the Benelux organisation where we serve a wide range of customers. Due to internal promotion, we are currently looking for a new Sales engineer for the Research and Analysis work area. Here you will work together with 11 direct colleagues to give our current customers the best customer experience and ensure that we achieve growth within this segment. The Benelux Research & Analysis team is characterised by collegiality, expertise, customer focus, openness and cooperation.





Your mission

The current sales rep was promoted internally,so we are looking for someone who can take over this role. Within the Research & Analyze market, our clients design the world of the future. They are creating a more sustainable, healthier and smarter future. For example, the energy transition requires specialised products and expertise from Air Liquide. Your mission is to support our and new customers (50% existing - 50% new) to achieve these goals. We do this by offering complex gas mixtures, industrial packaged gas, bulk gas and gas related and product. With our excellent market position, we want to give our customers excellent service, that goes far beyond a cylinder of gas. laboratories, universities, (bio) science parks and ambitious startups are among our customers.

As we are convinced that we deliver added value, we have the ambition to grow considerably. You will ensure a good follow-up of the customer portfolio and you will proactively come up with opportunities to expand Air Liquide’s services at the customer. You will also ensure that leads are created and followed up. As a result, you expand your customer portfolio. You will find all the support you need within the organization, a good proactive and positive cooperation is therefore important.

Your responsibilities

  • You serve a customer portfolio (area between Brussels and Luxembourg) that binds you for the long term;
  • You provide new business laboratories, universities, (bio) science parks and start up.
  • Through excellent cooperation you translate the customer demand into an offer / contract.
  • You know what is going on in your region South Netherlands and you anticipate this;
  • You are the contact person for your customers and ensure that customer requirements are shared within the organisation;
  • You will monitor profitability, growth and contract management.

  • You are strong independently as well as working in a team
  • You are always looking for new commercial opportunities
  • You work in a planned and goal-oriented way
  • You communicate proactively and transparently
  • You live conveniently (region Brussels, south of Belgium) to work efficiently in your region
  • You master the French and English language.
