A new Accountant job has just become available for a leading firm in Antwerp region (A12).
In this position, you will have the opportunity to further develop your accounting knowledge within a very wide variety of accounting tasks.

The Accountant will be responsible for:



  • You oversee the booking and checking of purchase and sales invoices, bank transactions to ensure correct and complete processing of data.
  • You will process daily incoming and outgoing invoices from the assigned National Sales Company and follow up the payment of the invoices within a clear timing to make correct and timely payments.
  • You ensure tax transactions in collaboration with the team leader to comply with legal accounting and tax regulations.
  • You process the monthly and quarterly balance sheets and financial statements in order to respect the accounting legislation and to provide the management with the correct data to implement the policy.
  • You act as a contact for one of our European entities to ensure a correct monthly closing



Profile of ideal Accountant:



  • You have a Bachelor degree in Accounting
  • A first experience in Accounting is a plus, no must
  • Given our international character, good knowledge of English is desired. Knowledge of another European language is a plus
  • You are familiar with common PC applications, SAP is a plus
  • Furthermore, you are accurate, efficient, customer-oriented and a team player
