Description

Function :
  • Support the continuous improvement initiative for the site: analyse performances, identify improvement opportunities, implement solutions and monitor benefits.
  • Extract value from big data on the energy, quality and productivity aspects. Energize the plant digitalization (MFG 4.0)
  • Develop process and failure models to optimize operation performances
  • Manage investment projects: develop case for action and justification, engineer and implement solutions
Profile :
  • Chemical orientation (5 years min), science, Engineer or technical degree
  • 2-5 years’ experience in related industry is a plus
  • Knowledge of BOPP converting / application technology is an asset
  • Experience with pilot line / semi-work type of equipment is a plus
  • Experience with laboratory equipment (optical microscopy, mechanical testing) and advanced competencies in analytical measurement (FTIR, DSC, Chromatography (GCMS)), rheology and surface properties, SEM-EDS, AFM is a plus
  • Curiosity, analytical and scientific approach and strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French & English are mandatory, German is a plus.
