At Aperam Genk, you’ll collaborate with a team of motivated, creative minds, working on impactful projects that drive innovation and sustainability in our circular economy.

Thanks to the rotation of projects, you will get the chance to explore diverse roles, unlock your potential, and discover what position suits you most. The program offers exposure to a wide range of projects, including

production, supply chain, sales, and customer care, providing practical experience in different areas of the business. Your progress and personal growth throughout the program will be closely evaluated by professionals.

After completing the 2-year Talent Program, we will work with you to determine where you’ll make your mark permanently, ensuring your future role is aligned with your goals and ambitions.

Throughout the Talent Program, you’ll take part in several innovative projects that deliver tangible results.

Depending on your interests and ambitions, these may include:

• Commercial & Business Development
• Engineering, Automation & Robotics
• Product Development & Innovation
• Expansion and optimization of production machines

You’ll enjoy freedom and flexibility, supported by individual mentoring, coaching, and a structured learning path to deepen your knowledge of strategies and processes. Throughout the program, you’ll build a strong network within the Aperam Group.

At the end of the 2-year Talent Program, we’ll guide you toward a permanent position that reflects your skills and professional objectives.

• You will graduate in the academic year 2024 – 2025, have recently graduated or have a few years of work experience.
• You have a master’s degree in economics/engineering: electro-mechanics, electronics, mechatronics, mechanics, material science,
• chemistry, statistics, mathematics, agriculture, computer science, architecture, civil engineering, industrial engineering
• or business engineering.
• You have analytical skills and can easily keep an overview and can break a project or situation into different aspects.
• You are a problem-solver, focusing on finding the fastest, most efficient solution.
• You are motivated, driven, and enthusiastic.
• You like challenges.
• You are flexible.
• You are driven by creativity and innovation and you are eager to learn and share.
• You are a strong team player and value collaboration.
• You strive to improve and make things better.
• You are a good communicator, able to convey ideas effectively.
• You are proficient in English and Dutch (or eager to learn). Knowledge of French is a plus.
