Application Architect / Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION

INTRASOFT International, a leading European IT solutions provider, is seeking on behalf of one of the European Institutions based in Brussels, a professional to cover the following opening:

A day in the life of an Application Architect / Designer (m/f)

The tasks are related to the conception, development and maintenance of the CAP Information Systems. It is expected that the Contractor’s service provider will ensure technical directions and choices, will design, realize and validate long-term, reliable and adaptive technical systems.
The Contractor’s service provider will execute the contract under the official Project Management Methodology of the European Commission (“PM²”) and the Agile@EC software development methodology that DG AGRI uses in order to monitor the deliverables. The Contractor will make provision in order that the service provider does not consider the implementation of that monitoring as direct orders given by the European Commission.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
The Contractor’s candidates must have the minimal knowledge and skills that a person with this profile is expected to possess, as defined in the Annex I of the Call for Tender’s Service Requirements.

The Location of services delivery will be Brussels. Therefore, in accordance with the service requirements of the framework contract, the Contractor’s candidates must be fluent in English. French is an asset. Documents will be written in English.

Your main duties will be:

• the conception, development and maintenance of the CAP Information Systems
• ensure technical directions and choices, will design, realize and validate long-term, reliable and adaptive technical systems.
• will design and develop application components at the View-ViewModel layer
• will design and develop application components at the View-ViewModel layer
• he/she will design and develop backend modules

If you have

• English.
• French is an asset
• at least 5 years in the architecture, design and development of Java applications;
• at least 3 years with each of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• At least 2 years with REST-based web services;
• At least 3 years with Spring,JPA and SQL

  It would also be a plus if you had

• Experience with a modern web development platform/framework such as Angular (in particular Angular2+), React, VueJS… will be considered as an advantage.
