Your Mission:

  • Develop visualization of existing business process of all Projects along with the team
  • Continuously review and optimize processes, report and provide bottleneck of the process.
  • Ensure internal coordination across teams.
  • Identify areas for automation and reduce operational burdens.
  • Allocate and control resources spent on projects.
  • Ensure compliance across multiple teams to centralize all project information.
  • Support and resolve issues using the root cause analysis and countermeasures method.
  • Standardize the company processes/flows and templates.
  • Support new development processes among stakeholders including global organizations from Japan, North America, Asia Pacific.
  • Manage status and progress on all the projects handled by the team, both qualitative (Quality Assurance and Control) and quantitative terms (Delivery times and contents)
  • Identify and report projects status/issues to management.
  • Establish tools and systems to track reports and deliverables
  • Act as escalation point for any issues related to the team members
  • Conduct continuous improvement (Kaizen) in TTS-E and Toyota “way of working” (training will be provided where necessary)

People Management:

  • Promote and foster the TTS-E and Toyota “way of working” mindset in each team member
  • Manage Team availability and financial approvals.
  • Manage member appraisal and member development.
  • Mentor and support Assurance team memebers in managing their projetcs
  • Build project framework and visualize planning
  • Establish and validate clear milestones and deliverables
  • Coordination and Follow-up of resources and tasks
  • Establish streamlined reporting processes
  • Organize and lead meeting and keep meeting minutes.
  • Monitor budget, Scope and Change Control/Time and Capacity control

Your Profile:

  • You have a Degree or equivalent certificates for studies in IT and Project Management
  • You have experience in IT Project Management as a team lead
  • You have demonstrated leadership skills, ethics, and sound judgement, both independently and as part of a team.
  • You have experience required in Resources management.
  • You have strong expertise in standardization for processes, flow, templates, and documentation
  • You have experiencein Project Management methodologies -Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Prince2
  • You have experience in planning and budget management/control
  • You follow the ‘bad news first and fast’ principle
  • You have a logical mind, even under high workload
  • You can step back and take a bird view on multiple project/programs.
  • You have good communication and relations with business owners and users.
  • You are able to express and support technical issues/requirements to non-technical people.
  • You are able to mediate conflicts and disputes in a logical manner
  • You have a strong ability in information research and documentation/archiving
  • You can document and present process flows and standards.
  • You are comfortable with Change Management and Leadership

Extra:

  • Knowledge of the Japanese or any other language
  • Knowledge of Toyota Production System and/or Toyota Business Practice
  • Knowledge of Toyota Way of Working
  • Experience in an international environment
