One of my clients in Belgium is looking for a Test Automation Specialist. Below are the details. Please apply for immediate consideration.

Job Description

Title: Test Automation Specialist

Location: Brussels, Belgium

Duration: 6 months freelance contract (Extension possible)

Job type: Hybrid (5 times a month onsite)

Following specific expertise is mandatory for the performance of tasks:

  • Proficiency in navigating and configuring the ServiceNow platform.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (eg, Selenium, Cucumber, ServiceNow ATF)
  • Understanding of ServiceNow’s Scripting and automation capabilities, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies
  • Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for the ServiceNow platform.
  • Understanding of test automation strategies and when to apply them.
  • Ability to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes and standards to ensure testing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Experience with performance and security testing.
  • Experience in integrating ServiceNow with other tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs for ServiceNow integration.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and think analytically to resolve complex automation challenges.
  • Commitment to staying updated with the latest updates and changes in ServiceNow.

Following skills and knowledge are required for the performance of the above listed tasks:

  • Autonomous.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments.
  • Good redaction skills, experience in preparation of written reports.
  • Capable to communicate effectively with different actors involved (testers, developers, management etc.)
  • Ability to apply high quality standards.

Following Tasks Will Be Performed By External Service Provider

  • Design, prepare and monitor ServiceNow automated tests.
  • Contribute to the development of a plan to integrate ServiceNow automated testing within the testing process.
  • Evaluate tools and technology for automation best fit to the project within the DevSecOps approach.
  • Create an approach and methodology for building a test automation architecture.
  • Design and develop (new or modified) test automation solutions that meet the business needs.
  • Enable the transition of testing from a manual to an automated approach.
  • Create automated test reporting and metrics collection.
