BladeStop, a brand of Scott, is an innovative safety solution for vertical bandsaws. It is used worldwide, particularly in the protein processing industry. The system combines advanced detection technology with robust machine engineering and has been internationally recognized with multiple safety awards.
Due to our growth, we are looking for a Sales & Distribution Manager Europe. As Sales Manager for BladeStop, you will work closely with our distributors to help them grow into strong and successful partners. You will combine your commercial flair with technical knowledge, building bridges between the end customer, the distributor, and BladeStop.
Your responsibilities include:
- Onboarding distributors and supporting them from day one, providing targeted training and tools to help them become strong partners.
- Working with distributors to generate leads, build sales pipelines and develop regional strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Providing technical product support and conducting demonstrations together with our distributors at the end customer.
- Building strong relationships, solving problems and ensuring the partner network operates smoothly.
- Analyzing market trends and sales data to identify new opportunities and improve distributor performance.
- Representing BladeStop at trade shows and events, collaborating with marketing to create effective promotional materials.
- Regularly visiting distributors and customers.
- Traveling within Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Italy and Spain (approximately once per month, 3–4 days per trip).
Profile
We are looking for someone who is proactive and constantly seeks ways to improve processes. You bring ideas to the table and actively think about optimizations. Additionally, you have strong communication skills and can coordinate clearly with various stakeholders.
Your ideal background includes:
- At least 5 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in an international B2B context within the protein industry.
- Experience in managing distributors in an international environment.
- Technical knowledge and a strong interest in working with distributors.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, with a solid knowledge of French. Spanish and Italian are a plus.
- Experience with CRM systems and the ability to use them effectively for proper follow-up.
